Goss MAP Sensors

Map sensors are devices that measure the pressure of the air entering the engine and send a signal to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU then adjusts the fuel injection and ignition timing to optimize the performance and efficiency of the engine. Map sensors are typically located on the intake manifold or near the throttle body. They can be either analog or digital, depending on the type of ECU and the communication protocol used. Map sensors are essential for engines that use variable valve timing, turbochargers, or superchargers, as they provide accurate information about the air density and flow rate.
